Section 3: Short and Medium-term Goals of the Institution

(a)How do you want to use the Project to introduce better management of your institution?

We want to use the project to introduce better management  of our institution positively like:

·         We will be an active autonomous at I.T.I. within the rules and regulations.

·         We will go for improved quality management system like I.S.O.-9001-2000.

·         We will  get better management information system and feedback system

·         We will be able to maintain  e’governance system.

·         We will be able to monitor all the activities at the I.T.I. with the help of intercom system, close circuit camera etc.

·         With the help of this project our efficiency, traceability and transparency will definitely increased.

 

 

(b)How do you want to use the Project to provide training to your teaching staff and to your non teaching staff?

The project will be definitely helpful to our staff to get proper and efficient training:

·         Strengthen the training Periodically Training Schedule will be prepared as per requirement and instructor training program will be carried out at ITI and other training centre at State or National Level.

·         Non teaching staff training schedule will be arranged at reputed training centre.

·         We will get separate fund for training through this project.

·         Training of trainers will be arranged frequently.

·         We already do arrangement for all staff for computer training of C.C.C.

 

 

(c)How do you want to use the Project to improve your teaching facilities and learning resources?

The project will be useful to improve our teaching facilities and learning resourses:

·         Proposal of required A.V.Aids will be prepared and procurement will be completed within six months.

·         For strengthen the Library. Required books will be purchased within six months.

·         We will get readymade educational programme through software and internet.

·         We want to maximize use of multimedia at our institute.

 

 

(d)How do you want to use the Project to increase the number of female trainees in your courses?

We will increased female trainees in our courses with help of this project:

·         We will run awareness programme for female bring to technical courses with help of    local school, colleges, social worker & N.G.O.

·         We advertise success women stories in technical field like kalpana chawala,sunita williams as roll model for awakening interest of female in technical courses of I.T.I.

·         We will make more publicity and awareness programmes through special seminars.

·         We will try to give more incentives and will try to increase more job opportunities to female

·         If possible, a separate women wing will be developed. 

 

 

(e)How do you want to use the Project to increase the number of trainees from disadvantaged  background in your courses?

To increase the number of trainees  from this groups:

·         We will run courses under M.E.S. scheme for advantages of  disadvantaged group

·         We will plan for provide facilities to disadvantaged group with help of Government schemes, Social worker  & N.G.O.

·         Sum special placement camps will be arranged.

·         Success stories of the students of this group will be published and will be in advertisement by us.

 

 

(f)How do you want to use the Project to improve your linkages or with external labour market.

For improving our labour market :

·         We will make M.O.U. and interaction with indusries.

·         Through active participation of I.M.C.we will get more ideas from industries.

·         New courses implementation on base of popularities.

·         With help of membership in C.I.I. our linkage with industries will be improved.

·         We will arranged an open house session for industries at our I.T.I.

·         We will arranged frequently industrial meets and industrial seminar at our I.T.I.
