Short Term Apparel Park Courses |
|
Under the World Trade Organisation agreement,
quota system has been abolished in textile sector and
therefore there is great opportunity for textile sector in
the international market. In response to the emerging
opportunities in Apparel and Garments sector, there is a
need to impart training in apparel production. There is also
a need to upgrade existing Industrial Training Institute
with requisite facilities for providing training in Apparel
production. Directorate of Employment and Training has taken
proactive steps in this direction and as a result “Apparel
Park Operator Training Programme” has been started last year
with intake capacity as shown below |
